dc.description.abstractThis research provides an analysis of the levels of deforestation and gaseous emissions and to what extent they affect the environment. The Zambia environmental management agency has the duty of protecting the environment from any sort of harm or pollution. Hence because of the significant rise in the levels of gaseous emissions and deforestation over the years the efficiency of ZEMA is discussed. The study illustrates the causes and effects of deforestation and gaseous emissions on the environment of Zambia and as a result allowed for awareness of the matter over the years. It further highlights environmental laws affected by deforestation and climate change in Zambia to which suggestions are provided. Furthermore, this research shall provide a set of recommendations regarding the issue of climate change and deforestation in Zambia. In order to curb and reduce the matter.
