Agricultural subsidies have long been a subject of contention within International Trade discourse, influencing global market dynamics and the nature of relations among trading nations. In recent years, however, the pursuit of sustainable development has gained prominence as governments seek to reconcile economic progress with broader objectives of social equity and environmental responsibility.
